Installed Keepass2Andoid and Avast! Mobile Security on my smartphone (HTC One)
Avast! Mobile Security blocks Keepass2Android because of a trojan!
Cannot use keepass2 with installed avast! Mobile security!

What should I think about safety of Keepass2Android?

This is a false alarm of Avast!
Keepass2Android is open source, so everybody can verify it's no malware. Please report the false alarm in the Avast! app so that Avast! hopefully fixes this soon.

BTW such alarms happen quite frequently:

I can confirm this was also flagged for me around 2 hours ago, was fine yesterday. seems Avast added the signature and reports the client having Android:SMSAgent-QA [Trj]

I just tested with virustotal which shows that it's really only an Avast problem:

I'd love to do something about this, but I don't know what it could be. All we can do is report to Avast and hope they fix this soon :-(

I added this report to the Avast! Mobile Security app comments and also sent a problem report through the Avast app in-built problem report utility. Chris

The previous version was 130724 or s'thing with the trojan I think. Because they pushed that out yesterday or was it the day before? which caused this nonsense in the first place.

(well at least I sorted out my image hosting service :o)
