Release Notes

Utilities for debugging problems with loading the database.
  • Download keepass-loadinginfo.zip to your windows PC. Unzip and run bin\Keepass.exe. Load your database. After loading, you will see a message box displaying loading information. Click "Yes" to copy to clipboard, paste to some text editor.
  • Download the Android app to your mobile device, install. Try to open your database. If this fails with "Composite key is invalid", this tool will hopefully help: Compare the output of the Windows program and the Android app. If there is a difference in the line "!Transformed Key after XXX rounds:" then go to the app settings. Under "Security" disable Native key transform and retry.

Please tell me about your experiences with this! You may also send me your logs, but always remove the lines starting with "!" because they contain information about your master key. (Not enough that I could open the database, but I warned you :-))
