Where is the character??

Mar 7, 2014 at 11:43 AM
I have a BIG problem.

I cannot find the right character at the keepass2android keyboard at the smartphone (android system).
The password was created by keepass2android and in the password is a character looks like square bracket.
BUT the square bracket is not a common square bracket like [ or ]. The little upper strip goes to the right side and the nether strip goes to the left side.
I never saw a character like that and I cannot find the character at the keyboard.
And I cannot switch the keyboard, because I need the password to unlock the screen. The screen is locked by a security tool.

Can anyone help me?

are you sure that character was created by the KP2A key generator? I don't think it's contained in the character set there?

Do you (or can you) sync your database to a PC and open it with Keepass 2.x? Maybe you can copy the password to another editor and find out the Unicode sign? What happens if you click the "switch keyboard" entry (after longpressing the KP2A key)?

Thanks for answering.
I solved the problem.
The charater was a little "L".
I copy the password in Word and take an other fond and a big size.
I think the graphic in the KP2A on my smartphone have a bug.
