it looks like this feature was deactivated by Google:

Please note that I am going to integrate GDrive support into the app, but this will take some time as I'll implement a few preparations first.

I can open and use (with my Android phone) my *.kdbx file
(1. open Google drive, 2. select *kdbx file, 3. open, 4. input Password)
I can read the file, add an entry but I can´t save the file.
That's not bad for now,... I can edit the file on my pc...

Just an interesting observation, and probably not much help to most but... If you have a rooted device, and don't mind mucking around, if the opened file is in /data/data/com.google.android.apps.docs/cache/filecache2/1234567890abceffecba0987654321/YourDatabase.kdbx And you modify the permissions on the database itself to world-writeable, as well as the directory it's in (123456789....), you can edit the file, and on viewing the details in the Drive app, they will get uploaded back to drive.

It's a massively annoying hack (and a bit of a security risk if you get any malware on your phone - but then again so is rooting it), but in a pinch it does work.
